The Greene County High School music department will present its annual Dessert Concert Monday, Dec. 16, at 7:30 pm in the Middle School gymnasium.
The concert band, concert choir, jazz band, and jazz choir will perform a variety of music. Concert choir alumni are encouraged to participate in singing Handel’s Hallelujah Chorus.
As introduced last year, the evening will include a silent auction. Parents of music students are graciously donating items for this special event. Parents are also baking a vast selection of delicious desserts and pies for the patrons to choose from. The annual event has become a special part of the holiday season.
Tickets are available from any high school music student, The Printer’s Box, the high school office, or at the door.
